Who we are
This website is run by SC Environmental Services, owned by Steven Cooper. We are responsible for the personal information you send us. You can contact us by phone on 07514 048911 or by email at steven94cooper@icloud.com.
What we collect
When you use the enquiry form we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode and what you tell us about the problem, plus any photos you add. When you message us on WhatsApp we receive your number, your messages and any photos. We do not collect anything else about you through this site.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to you, arrange a visit, give you a price and do the work. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before a contract, and then carrying out that contract. Where we must keep records for tax, the basis is legal obligation.
How long we keep it
Records we need for tax are kept for as long as HMRC requires. After that we delete them.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your details or share them with anyone for marketing. Our website hosting provider stores the site and form messages on our behalf. WhatsApp is run by Meta, and its own privacy policy applies to messages you send through it. We share details with others only if the law requires it.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookie is a login cookie for site staff who sign in to manage the website. Visitors are not given it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
