Commercial: Offices and shops

Pest control for offices and shops

Mice in ceilings and kitchens, rats around bin stores, wasps at entrances and pigeons over shopfronts. We proof the gaps, treat discreetly and report in writing.

The problem

What goes wrong on these sites

Mice move through ceiling voids, risers and service ducts, and find food in kitchens and staff rooms. Rats come in from bin stores and drains. Wasps nest in roof spaces and near doors in summer. Pigeons roost on signs and ledges above shopfronts and foul the pavement below. One sighting by a customer or member of staff can damage trust quickly.

Our approach

What we would do

We survey the building, including voids, kitchens and bin areas. Gaps around pipes, doors and ducts are proofed. Mice and rats are trapped or treated in tamper-resistant boxes placed out of public view. Wasp nests are treated and staff are told when the area is safe. Spikes or netting go on ledges and signs. Planned visits follow, at times that suit your opening hours.

On site

We can visit before opening, after closing or at quiet times. We sign in, follow your building rules and wear the PPE required. A risk assessment and method statement (RAMS) is supplied before the first visit.

How a job runs

  1. Step 1

    Survey

We look at the problem on site, inside and out, and find where the pests get in.

You get A plain read of the problem. The site visit is free.

  2. Step 2

    Plan and price

The method and the visits, and for businesses a risk assessment and method statement (RAMS).

You get A written price before any work starts.

  3. Step 3

    Treatment or installation

Bait and proofing, nest treatment, spikes, netting or a flown hawk, whichever the site needs.

You get The work done by Steven himself.

  4. Step 4

    Check

We come back and check it has worked.

You get A short note of what we found.

  5. Step 5

    Prevention

The fix that stops it coming back: proofing, housekeeping and, for businesses, planned visits.

You get Advice in writing, and a visit plan if you want one.
